MS does not issue "fixes". That would infer errors. They issue "code adjustments and enhancements".
Wait, I have to get my hip-boots on for this!

I guess I shouldn't be surprised if my/our posts start disappearing now.

    • We fixed an issue that incorrectly logs Extensible Storage Engine Technology (ESENT) event 642 in the Application Event Log.

Finally. Only took them 8 months. Better late than never I suppose.

It seems they broke XboxGameBar and Rivatunner Statistics Server (Msi afterburner overlay). Second cannot inject.

    Hi there
Back in old "IBM Big Blue" days IBM would say "It's not an error -- it's a feature" !!

    Cheers

WU find this update, but as soon as it is trying to download it, I get this error: "Something went wrong. Maybe this error-code can help to find a solution 0x80070002"
I have tried to restart the Windows Update service, but that did not help. Any ideas?
    I'm on 19042.746 right now

That code suggests missing files. You might want to try Shawns WU reset script Reset Windows Update in Windows 10 and give it another try.

Thank you #17. That did it. Now I'm running ver 19042.782

It was the first time I have had this error, but now I'll know what to do if it comes again
