    Microsoft's in such a hurry to get this out and so understaffed that they don't have 10 minutes to state the purpose of the optional fix?

    i still waiting from official windows update and microsoft update catalog.
    cab file cumulative update and cab file update preview is an update that is not final or beta testing.

    Or to make it an .MSU so it can be installed easily. Also, what was so much hurry to make it available before their work day start, middle of the night ?
    Installed it using DISM but I still got this, is that right ?

    Here's another theory courtesy of Neowin: this represents a first tentative stab at the enablement package that could lead to 21H1/19043 family of builds in Feb/Mar: Microsoft reportedly set to preview Windows 10 21H1 as build 19043. FWIW, the SolarWinds stuff was server focused. I'd be surprised if a client-side patch proves needed.

    PS: I just checked the screencaps at deskmodder.de and sure enough they mention 21h1 explicitly. I'm not sure where he came up with the 19043 numerology, though...
