Skipping this one at least until we learn more about it. Not having any particular problems now, so not aware anything I use needs fixing.

It took a while to install, it would be nice if we were told by MS what it did. I did a backup last night and I have no problems as of now.

No idea what it's for, must be some emergency. Made a backup yesterday so I'll chance it. Downloading now.

I think I will wait because it is like buying a wrapped gift and not knowing what's inside the box. Thx, but no thx MS!.
Anyhow we will know soon enough. Patience is a virtue.

Wonder if it's to do with the bug that corrupts drives that's been publicised a lot lately?

I did it because of what is going on in the world, it may be security protection. I had Task Manager running and the highest use was in Windows Security.

It's a matter of choice, but I would like to know what exactly this update does before putting it on my well functioning computers. BTW, I am pretty sure that we will all know what's cooking with this emergency update before the end of the day.

Like Josey, might be something with the Stargate Solarwinds or whatever it's called. MS did publish they got hit with a variant of it.
