Installed on 2 computers without a problem. On the 3rd I get KB4598242 failed to install 0x8007000d. Tried several times with same error. Also tried downloading the update and that didn't work either. Windows 10 Pro Version 20H2 OS build 19042.685. Getting ready to do a Repair Install as soon as I do a backup. This computer installed the 685 update without any problems. The one I did have problems with the 685 update installed fine this time. Had to do a repair install on it to get the 685 update.

    SFC /scannow found no problems

What's with having to push the "Install now" button to get the CU and the MSRT to install? Has this been going on for a while and I just missed it (always a possibility)? Or is that something new? Otherwise, updates went swimmingly on the 5 machines I've done so far, with 2 more left to go this evening.

Three 20H2 PCs, 1 Home 2 Pro done pretty quickly, no major problems that I can see.

Install now button on Home PC but not on the Pros.

Total today's updates for Windows 20H2

After the installation i clean up the disk (using command prompt's commands). Size reduced by 4GB.
Also , after these updates when i do right click at files , shortcuts and folders the new context menu is wide (bug or they want it ?). Registry tweak for non-wide context menu not change something.

I cant see some problem except context menus.

Don't know Ed. I've had that sometimes before but not today. Also before I've sometimes had a Download button but never both.

@kado897: Now that I think back, it came up on 3 of my 5 machines so far. Wouldn't you love to know how Windows 10 decides to show (or not show) those buttons? I've seen the Download button, too, and of course, now we also occasionally see the Optional update button (and its sub-buttons), too.
    Sigh.

I thought it might be to do with active hours but it's not consistent.

Immediate memory management crash on reboot then to repair mode which failed to repair. I restored from a backup I had made immediately before the upgrade.

I suspected some incompatibility of the latest version of Primocache (4.01) so I rolled back to 3.2 and redid the update and it went without an issue.

So I am thinking it is version 4.01 of Primocache, but can't prove it, but I would advise if you are using 4.01 of this product, you make a backup prior to performing the update,
I'm on Ver. 4.01 and the update went just fine for me. I do not use the "level 2 cache feature". Do you use it? Maybe that caused the issue/
