Yep, I was planning to upgrade from 1909 to 2004 but was moved to 20H2 instead. Which is fine, but this little pickle - however minor - is rather annoying...

Not sure what I read here... so is there a manual work-around? Or it's just yet another unregistered bug pending formal acknowledgment and fix?

Thanks, that's what I thought as I did not see it mentioned in the other, related thread.

I uninstalled 20H2 within 15 minutes of installing it because of this little pickle. Thought it would be fixed by now as @f14tomcat reported it to M$ many moons ago,and BTW it's still working fine on 2004.

If you look at the StartupInfo folder and its contents are not updated with a new file within 5 minutes of restarting your PC, it's a sign of the bug that Task Manager - Startup information is not being updated - the bug in question.

Done and dusted my end either and without the issues.

...so what's the story with Task Manager and its Start-up tab? It still says 'not measured' all over the place?
My Task Manager & Start-up tab are normal with 20H2 (OS Build 19042.685)

Judging by available information on my 1909 image that I still have this feature was working fine until I was moved to 20H2.

They may appear to display normally with values and all looks ok. In many cases what members are seeing that is misleading is the data displayed is old, stale, not updated. The columns in question...... i/o, cpu, running, impact ......... are calculated from the following files in the directory:

    KB4592438 CU Windows 10 v2004 build 19041.685 and v20H2 19042.685-2020-12-10_08h32_41.png

You need to check the dates/times on these files to see if they are current or past history. You will need to approve Admin rights to the folder/file to get to them. They are updated as part of the system startup and log on. If the dates are old, the data is old, and the display is old and inaccurate.

I checked my startupinfo folder and it was empty. Could they be somewhere else since in the Task Manager column Startup files are listed and the Startup Impact is not measured?
