This is excellent advice -- as I had this same problem, restored the PC using an MR backup, setting it back to 19042.610 -- and the Windows Update did fine. The PC is now 19042.685.

Addresses a security vulnerability by preventing applications that run as a SYSTEM account from printing to "FILE:" ports. To address this issue in the future, make sure your applications or services run as a specific user or service account.
If so, please do not be. This is directed at developers for the most part, and is a rare circumstance to begin with. It's a Security update and cannot be avoided in the update. You're not going to crash. The System processes will keep running.

If you already updated to 661 or 662, then you will not need to manually download and install 631 since 661 and 662 is a higher build. No need to do anything.
