So if we installed .661 from a cab file how would we uninstall that? I was having issues with 20H2 so not wanting to do a repair install since I wouldn't be able to uninstall 20h2?

There is something strange, I had this all installed, put my PC to sleep, then did something came back and woke it up and checked WU and it started to redo the entire thing, this time It did not restart.. Nothing failed the first time..
I received some king of security update the second time. Nothing to do with .NET

I formatted my drive c:, installed 631 and then updated to 20H2 19042.685. It took about 1 hour but now I need to re-install everything. It was time to get rid of all the old junk on my system anyways.

Another workaround is available if you updated to 20H2 from 2004 through Windows Update. Uninstall the 20H2 Enablement Package KB4562830 to return to version 2004. Then you can do a repair install that keeps files and apps.

Any reason why you think that anyone can't update from that?
Because I couldn't myself & I've never seen anyone who has.

I admire you for your courage. I have so many programs I shutter to think of doing that with my systems.
