    How do you KNOW that these are actually "lies"? What evidence do you have to support that claim?

    Consider the following extract -- directly from the Microsoft Services Agreement https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/servicesagreement/ (bold added for emphasis)

    That means MS reserves the right to download software that prevents you from playing counterfeit games. Whether or not that software actually deletes the games is entirely up to MS. But, nonetheless, they are messing around with games you have installed on your PC.
    well downloaded a couple to test it after all the scare mongering both run fine you cant play online obviously but you could not do that before windows 10 either plus both Mary Jo Foley and Paul Thurott said on windows weekly it not true

    Interesting.. and this is coming from someone who's using Xp.. an OS that no longer get's security updates??
    =====================
    I have 2 Windows 10 computers, upgraded from Windows 7.
    My first post happened to come from my Win XP computer. (I did not throw away any of my Win XP computers.)

    Under my user name: Learner99, it listed my computer's hardware and Windows XP.
    All my subsequent posts came from Windows 10 computers. (But what behind my user name sticks --- windows XP)

    Question: How to change my computer hardware and OS used behind my user's name (Learner99)?

    Hey all, Here is my 2 cents worth.
    I've seen a software rollout first hand and there is always a shakedown period. That is normal. Microsoft has the additional task of working with a multitude of 3 party hardware suppliers to make their adaptations a success. Some don't.
    I suggest utilizing the KISS program until you learn to drive the new platform successfully.

    This isn't really a concern because the upgrade is being pushed out in waves, weeks and months still ahead. That's meant so Windows 10 doesn't break the internet. The other is if there are bugs being found during a certain wave, that gives them time to stop, patch, and continue.

    One and half billion PCs don't become Windows 10 PCs overnight.

    Yea, I understand. Most of the end users do not have the patience, or understanding, to deal with upgrades and the such. Comparing Windows 10 and my past experience it seems to come down to the user interface(Graphics interface) otherwise known as the GUI. Most windows hangs, past and present are typically these types.

    I believe that I like Windows 10. From what I have read they have stabilized the software by modularizing the sub routines and separated them from the explorer side, thus making it faster and more stable. I have upgraded 3 machines with excellent results. I should say that my graphics driver still has an issue but amd has so far issued two revs. At least they are still working on it!
