    used either wumgr or WUMT (windows update minitool) to hide/block this new revision of KB4023057 from installing onto my dad's Toshiba laptop running Win10 Home 21H1

    Two months ago, KB4023057 was still installed on my Home 20H2 although I had already hidden it via WUMT. Now, I have used a CMD script to lock the "Microsoft Update Health Tools" folder, the destination folder of KB4023057.

Problems with Windows 10 Update KB4023057 -
in Windows Updates and Activation

I have installed and reinstalled the above update about 6 times. Have uninstalled. and reinstalled. Only updates to 82% and then freezes. My update states it installed successfully. WRONG.

What on earth is wrong with the above update? My PC has tried 6 times to instal it and each time it completely crashes with a black screen only overcome by unpugging and leaving and replugging and switching on whereupon it tries a couple of times...
