Didn't MS say there won't be any Insiders preview Updates in December? Am I reading something wrong here?

They said there would be no optional "preview" windows updates for current Windows 10 versions.

That's why they dumped the PT Preview late Yesterday. It was November!

All these "torn volume/folder" errors in the event viewer have been giving me a headache. Glad to see I'm not alone--running chkdsk C: /F this morning (after a reboot of course) resulted in a green screen NTFS STOP Error. Rebooted and automatic boot repair worked correctly, fortunately, and repaired it. Looks like chkdsk c: /F screwed the volume up! Ran sfc /scannow and system errors repaired--then I ran chkdsk on c:\ ( no /F) option--and finally got no errors from the scan. Ditto all my other volumes--no problems. I hope 20270 fixes these problems. Was actually looking for WHEA errors which I don't have when I found these. Reminds me forcefully that these are beta builds...

I'm sort of ignorant about this, but what is Win10 v2009...? I'm on the Dev channel and still on v2004...

IIRC, there is no v2009 for naming. MS dropped that convention and will stick with 20H2, 21H1 and 21H2. There's a thread on it, but wife is calling me to dinner.

Guess we will have to wait as always to see if we get a build tomorrow.
