You need the updated .CAB file for .662, but uninstall .661 update first

I updated from 661 to 662 on an old desktop so it's possible. However, I couldn't on my laptop.

I had to go back to 19042.572 to get 662 to install. It was the last image that I had before 661.

in stable windows position, still checking in windows update today.. check... check.... check... and the result is nothing for this update ...

@canibal, It's not an official update: "Optional Leaked Cumulative Update Preview " - nobody gets it from WU yet. Only post #1.

Used the Dump-did an inplace upgrade with an ISO.

I can't uninstall KB4586853 - probably because I used dism to clean up WINSXS a while ago. So I'll just have to wait for the next real update.

Is this unreleased experimental preview KB really worth the pain everyone is going through to install it? I think not.

Anyone gained anything beneficial out of it?
