    Maybe I'll wait for .663 where they fix the .662 problems that are supposed to fix the .661 problems.

    I can confirm DISM (all the usual command-lines) & sfc /scannow came out clean in my case, but couldn't still install this revised update. Does anyone have a clue about the purpose of this update in order to see if it is really worth all the trouble?. Remember no release notes; I think this is the second or third time...

    It's A/B testing of .cab files. Depending on the group you are randomly assigned to it will either install, or not. For the other group, it will either install, or not.

    I think by Dec 08, 2020 (Patch Tuesday) everything should be back to proper order. Here is hoping that MS has a positive outcome from their A/B testing.
