    Repair install problem not fixed
You know there's a registry fix to get around that, right?

Cannot get it either from Windows Update in Settings. I am going to have a go at the Cab file.

    Thanks Shawn,
I installed KB4586781 CAB first and then the SSU and both installed without any problems.

I installed it, it worked. This is a security update, probably no bug fixes.

Seems like this KB broke Task Manager > Startup values from updating.
In Task Manager > Startup tab, if you enable columns such as "Running now" and "CPU at startup", you should see "Running" in some columns and the "CPU at startup" values should vary between power ups - you have to wait about 10 minutes after reboot to check this.

I've rebooted twice and nothing is updating including the files in C:\Windows\System32\WDI\LogFiles\StartupInfo.

If anyone else uses 20H1/2004 and this feature and can confirm it's broken for you too, I'd appreciate it. It's definitely broken in 20H2.

I'm uninstalling it to confirm Task Manager > Startup works again
