I still have a hand full of Flash games I play, via manul install. Though it is turned off and I explicitly have to turn it on using Chrome.
Alas, slip gently into the night you silent giant.

There are still 2 Flash Player security updates in Programs & Features > View installed updates
1 is from October, the other is from August.
The update from October uninstalled no problem, but the update from August will not budge.
I tried removing them before I removed Flash Player, but the update from August, like I said, won`t uninstall.
And this is from the 860 Pro which I have not removed Flash Player from yet.
I have already removed Flash Player from the tester 850 Pro, but the results are the same on both SSD`s, the update will not uninstall.
It`s no big deal, just wondering why it won`t uninstall from either SSD.

Please check this link out, it works fine. It’s kind of monotonous changing the same thing in a bunch of similar files but it work.
Uninstalling ‘uninstallable’ Windows Updates | Born's Tech and Windows World
Not sure if that would work, the Flash Player security update does not have a KB#,,, But then neither did the security update I was able to uninstall normally.
I`ll have to read the article another 10 times
This is the update that won`t uninstall.
If I were evaluating this for an enterprise environment, it would be useful to "tinker" with this. For a personal use machine, I think I'll wait until the formal Windows Update release. I see no compelling reason to potentially damage a working installation for something that my system is not even using anyway...
I've also been removing AFP but had to edit a Web page to remove a script that pulled up a clock from World Time Server to display that required the use of AFP, now looking for something else that works similar, not just putting a link on the page but displaying a clock that shows the time the viewers' computer is set for.
No reason at all for using these "tricky" uninstallers .............wait for next CU ( January )
That 'unremovable' entry may be left in place to assure protection even after AFP is uninstalled. Don't see it as a problem on my computers.
