Good to hear that turning off Fast Start has been a fix for your issues Allen. My Night Light has worked perfectly since I did this and with an SSD the start times are only a few seconds longer than when using Fast Start.

I just found it laggy and slow - 10 year old hardware but core i5 and ssd and was blazing on 1909. Hope a fix comes along.
Works great on brand new gaming pc though.
If it's that old, be prepared to simply stay with a Win 10 build that works with it.
It is relatively easy to do that.
You're in non-guaranteed territory at your own risk.
UPDATE 1/8:
Known and resolved issues updated status for Windows 10 version 20H2. See first post for more details.
svchost.exe cdpusersvc event 1000 i get this error at events every time loged to windows
(HP 590-p0053w Pavilion i5-8400 2.8GHz 8GB RAM 1TB HDD Win 10 Home Silver/Black)
My 2 year old HP desktop (i5-8400 with a 16GB Optane chip) would crash to a cold shutdown whenever I tried to put it to sleep. This happened after I did all updates for the latest Win 10 ---The 20H2 edition---
I did this and it has worked the last few days--
Go to your updates History
Go to uninstall updates
Uninstall the latest .Net Framework--- kb4586876 -- which should be-- the 4.8 edition // which is the latest
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...-net-framework
See if this solves your problem. (It did for me)
If so then after a day or two--
Check for updates
You will see the 4.8 .Net Framework LISTED AGAIN
Re-install it
See if your problem returns --- My problem did not return
IOW my computer goes to sleep just fine-----Same as it did before installing Win 10 20H2
KEEPING my fingers crossed
My theory is some computers cannot digest installing the 4.8 .Net Framework at the same time as other updates.
That 4.8 .Net must be installed by itself
Anyway who needs any .Net Framework? I understand it is for app developers

I just installed a bunch of updates and believe one of them may have been this one. At any rate, now my Windows Search isn't working and was wondering if anyone has had that problem associared with this update and how they fixed it. In any case, several of the recent updates don't some up when /i click on uninstall updates.
