Got 20h2 on windows update today...installed very quick and flawlessly...
Just wondering, my start menu is still the same as before...yet i saw pictures of a new look to the tiles on start menu...does something have to be changed to get it?
It was already in older builds of 2009. So, no need to do anything.

Have you tried the Update Assistant? That 's the first option up top at the same link as Media Creation Tool.

No, Dick, I wanted to make an iso so I wouldn’t have to deal with upgrade assistant for 5 computers. Guess my bad!

What is the size of 20h2 windows 10 home iso for download? I want to know as I am using metered connection. Will it vary if done with mct if so what is the size with mct. I downloaded mct. But it shows 19041.572. as below
    Attachment 302759
My latest windows update is also 19041.572
Sorry for a late response to your query. I saw that @steve108 has already done it. I wanted to add that with regard to downloading the ISO for a repair install, it didn't not work in my case since I was already on Build 19042.546 meaning 20H2 (Beta version). The workaround for me is explained in post #42 of this same thread. So the way forward to the upgrade depends on which version you were — in your case 19041.572.

Thanks Bree for the help. I already have option for update to 20h2. That I will do. If I have to do clean Install, I need ISO Windows 10 Home. What should I do for that. use 2004 iso for clean install and update or I have to get 20h2 ISO. IfI have to go for second option Howto go about it to get ISO and what will be its size for download
You can use UUPDump to get it for your Home Edition. After clicking on the architecture (x64) or (x86) you want, you will be presented with a list of choices for pro, home etc...Just tick the one for Home and untick the others. A better explanation on how the whole thing works with UUPDump can be found here:

The size should be around 4GB.

    From first page:
Approach on update availability and rollout

In this work, learn and connect from home environment where people are relying on their PCs more than ever before, we are taking a measured seeker-based rollout approach to the October 2020 Update. We are throttling availability over the coming weeks to ensure a reliable download experience, so the update may not be offered to you right away. Additionally, some devices might have a compatibility issue for which a safeguard hold is in place, so we will not offer the update until we are confident that you will have a good update experience.

Pardon if this has been asked. Is there a reason you cannot or don't want to get the .cab file and run it? t update to 19042.572 in 5 minutes. It's the Enablement trigger.
