Actually, when I posted the one above the update was already asking to restart the computer.

Just got it. Downloading now! I wonder why Microsoft pushes out these updates if they don't fix bugs or change anything. Is it to clean up the pipeline?

When I look at the # of fixes on the next build, I wonder the same. Its a never ending list of problems that was sent out all creating new things to be fixed.

    Hi folks
amazing that they push out 2 updates in just 2 days or so -- I never found any problems with the previous release in spite of loads posting on these boards about problems with it.

This one is also working just fine -- via WU rather than UUPDUMP this time.

    Cheers

This .1005 cumulative isn't supposed to do anything noticeable to users. As stated up top, it's to test the servicing pipeline. which is a fancy way of saying to test the way they update the stuff they do.. They send down dumb-dumb pices of code that update a test area and report back yea or nay. Shooting blanks to test the gun.

Still like last build every time I reboot or shutdown I get closing 1 app “background host/international language settings host” don’t have the exact message but along those lines, on a clean install.
    Anyone else?
