Don't you think that Microsoft should bring out a Win 10 lite version. No apps just a straight forward OS, no bells or whistles. How many of you have removed all MS apps? how many don't want the useless update for those apps. I have tried 2004. Nothing but event viewer errors. Yet my version of 1909 has no errors and runs fine. Really tired of MS bullshit and crap updates for 2004. It's taken them long enough to get to grips with 1909 and now with 2004 we start all over again.

Even allowing for this year with Cv19 MS has been totally sloppy with their 2004 update. Insiders- a joke, no QA inside MS -a joke. MS need to take a step back and follow the companies like Macrium Reflect for good response times for any problems. Disk defrag , masses of Esent errors(2004) which you my say is not a problem but, it's still disk writes to your SSD's and there are a lot of us out there that have SSD's.

Yes, windows lite would be very good idea, I change most of MS stuff for 3rd party anyway.
On the other hand, windows are much larger and more complicated than MR and most of SW (except some games) so lag time between updates and fixes is inherently much longer. Part of testing has been unloaded to insiders in 3 groups instead of in house testing. More lag time induced.

But, it seems that MS is not taking notice of what insiders say. The worst thing MS did was to close their QA section. At this moment in time it seems that MS does not know what the left and right hand are doing. There is really no excuse for turning out second rate updates to the public, CV19 or not. Whether you agree or not , MS has failed to deliver 2004 in a state fit for use.

MS feed back is like a black hole , thing go in and nothing is ever seen or heard of again.

Weird I've succesfully installed this on the 13th of this month but system log is saying it started downloading it again.
I've checked for network activity and manually checked for updates nothing.
It just randomly logged itself as downloading again.

My Newer 10th Gen Intel Comet Lake Based Desktop sees it via Windows Update, ((didn't start that install yet) completing Macirum Reflect System Image first, then immediately installing

It says on Windows Update on that system

    Feature Update 20H2

    Some Info on it
and Download and Install Now button at bottom of that Windows

(Typing this from Laptop while Desktop Backup Image finishes)

    **Laptop doesn't see it yet**
