Personally liking the UI, but for those that don't, I would think Nadella and Myerson will listen and include an optional start menu in an edition of 9. Perhaps Enterprise? Hopefully so. We shall see soon.

It occurs to me that those who have embraced 8 must really be looking forward to 9, assuming it is an improvement on what they already have. A Guy

After paying for Windows 7 I am through chasing the carrot.
For myself I really don't care what it is like; I'll buy it anyway just to have something to test and play around with. . .:):):)

Just got a new $450 Laptop with Windows 8.1 so probably won't upgrade it to W9. If it gets too outdated in a few years I'll give it away. I have two desktops that are about 3 years old. Mine has W8.1 and the wife has W7 which I will upgrade to W8.1 later this year. Then I will see if W9 is worth the expense and trouble to upgrade. I sure it will not be a lot different then W8.1
