I see Windows now shows whether it's running in a "Virtual" environment or on a phsyical host.

This possibly could be a security risk -- remote users should not be able to establish whether they were on a Real or Virtual machine (note this wouldn't apply to home computers usually of course because you'd know if you were in a Virtual Machine or not !!!).

After launching my Hyper-V VM, I found KB4586238 waiting for a restart:


Winver after restart:

downloaded and installed no problems
that makes a change from the last few updates

I also have the Microsoft Store update problem, the same 21 apps keeps updating and updating, I tried all the 'solutions' but none did help.

Also the new 20231.1005 update from today didn't help
