The non-Insider 2 PCs and 1 LT I upgraded to 20H2 last week all show KB4577063 CU Preview as having been successfully installed on 24 September, but they are 19042.541 instead of .546. Maybe that will get changed with the final release.
In my own opinion, this is as close as one can get to the final release. For sure, the build number will change to reflect that official release.
I just updated from 541 via WU and it was quick and easy.
I don't know why, but I cannot get this build to install from UUPDump this time around. It wants to wipe out all my apps and data files and the choice to keep them is greyed out. To that, I say "No way, José". I will double-check later on, since I have not had this issue before. I am not on Insider program and I have always done it via UUPDump.
For now, I am downloading the build for Dev channel (Fast ring) 20226.1000 on my Hyper-V virtual machine which resides on the same computer.
