Let's go back to the "Your Phone" app, the app made in Microsoft that allows you to manage all the features of your smartphone (Android or iOS) directly from your Windows 10 PC. Several new features have been introduced in recent months (including the ability to use Android apps on Windows 10, if you have a Compatible Samsung smartphone) and many more are coming in the coming weeks. In this article we anticipate only two (of the many) new features that the Your Phone team has been working on for several months now and that finally, from today, are being released for Insider users: let's talk about the new sections "Contacts" and "Sent from your phone", as well as some amazing graphic news.

Incoming Contacts section

Microsoft started working on the new Contacts section as early as early February. We had heard about it on Twitter and, finally, six months after the first sighting we are able to tell you how the new section designed by Microsoft for Your Phone will work. Microsoft plans to integrate the Contacts app (abandoned for several years) into Your Phone: you will have the ability to browse the entire address book of your smartphone directly from the application for Windows 10 and to send messages or make calls to the chosen recipients. Sent from your phone (partially released)

The second news that from today Insider users (or rather, some of the Insider users, being a server-controlled release) can "test" is the new "Sent from your phone" section. This feature will allow you to share links, images and notes directly from your smartphone to your Windows 10 PC: just open the item to share on your phone, choose the share item and select as the app for sharing "Your Phone companion app". However, for the time being, it would seem that the feature has only been partially activated (you should be able to see the new "Sent from your phone" page, but not to share files right away).
