19041.508 is Release Preview Channel. 20H1.



19042.508 is Beta Channel. 20H2 to be released as Fall Update or whatever handle they put on it.

Update is for both, RP and Beta. I have both, independently, and received both, independently. To get 19042.508, yes, you need to change to Slow (Beta channel). You don't need to change anything to get the cumulative, it's available for both. See top of page 1 post.

.Net Component levels are specific to an OS level, so there may not have been any updates. I didn't get any for Beta (slow ring 20H2) but I did for RP 2004 currently 20H1. maybe that helps....
