Guys just out of curiosity how long did it take for it to install on your PCs ?

Mine took like 40 min all updates, i also had some "windows malicious removal tool" installed today.

Do you mean the time from when the updates started downloading, or something else?

    Also one more question.

Is there such a thing as the getting the updates AUTOMATICALLY with WU but WITHOUT the user even having to click "install" and "restart" at the beggining and ending ?

I mean can updates from WU automatically install by themselves without the user even having to click "install" and "restart" during this ?

It will depend on many things - hardware, internet connection etc. The important thing is that they installed without problems

I don't think an automatic restart would be a good idea.

But can updates automatically install by THEMSELVES through WU without the user even having to click "install" at the beggining and "restart" when it's done ?

I mean literally without not a single action from the administrator, just WU doing it by itself ?

Maybe if you change youe 'active hours', it would happen, but I wouldn't want that

Maybe someone has the answer to your question - I don't know :)

The only scenarios I know of where Windows Updates will install automatically without users' intervention are when your build version is approaching end of support and for Devices' drivers that cannot any longer be updated via Device Manager

With today's blog post announcing the availability of version 1903, we have the first clue.
For Windows 10 devices that are at, or within several months of reaching end of service, Windows Update will automatically initiate a feature update.... The Windows 10 April 2018 Update (Windows 10, version 1803) will reach end of service on November 12, 2019 for Home and Pro editions. Starting this June, we will begin updating devices running the April 2018 Update and earlier versions of Windows 10....
Microsoft to start pushing Windows 10 version 1903 automatic updates starting in June | ZDNet

    ----updated----

    With regard to driver updates:

You may remember stories about the removed driver search and update functionality in Device Manager that circulated on some sites not too long ago. It appears that Microsoft has not removed the feature but moved it.The timing was off, as is the case often, as Microsoft removed the feature first before it introduced the functionality at another location.
Starting with the August 2020 releases for Windows 10, optional updates is now the place to get feature updates, monthly non-security updates (also called preview updates), and driver updates.

About 10 mins on an i7 with SSD. 1 hour on a 10yo i3 spinner.
