And secondly. No it doesn't show the same. When run as non-Administrator the BIOS is detected as legacy (which is wrong, as you're on UEFI). That's why in the instructions I say to run the script in an elevated (=Run As Administrator) PowerShell.
Regarding the mcu of course is the same!

Well you cannot count on Microsoft to have the most up-to-date microcodes.
From my last bios update on August 4th:
Running microcode revision : 0xD6 (loaded by UEFI)
UEFI CPU microcode revision : 0xD6
Microsofts offering not been updated:
Intel® Core™ Processor i9-9900K, i9-9900KF : 0xAE
I'm not sure what was updated. The summary doesn't mention any of the vulnerabilities disclosed within the past year.
I don't understand why Microsoft is having so much difficulty providing microcode updates from Intel in a timely fashion. Linux distributions don't have this problem.
