To be politically correct MS will not use 2009 for the next release, it is 20H2 and this is what MS will use going forward.
Also 2004 19041.488 has the same code as 20H2 19042.488 with the new features turned off. The update from 2004 to 20H2 will be with a small update package just like 1903 to 1909.

    Quote from MS.
As with Windows 10, versions 1903 and 1909, versions 2004 and 20H2 share a common core operating system with an identical set of system files. New features are included in monthly quality updates for version 2004 in an inactive and dormant state. These new 20H2 features remain dormant until they are turned on through the “enablement package,” a small, quick-to-install “master switch” that activates the Windows 10, version 20H2 features.

Yes, so did I when the issue first became evident.

I clicked on remove me when this build becomes final and it did. I am now on 19042.488. Looks like it must be released.
What ring are you on? I'm on the beta ring, and still at 19042.487.

Just to be contrarian, here's another quote from MS that says its called Version 2009

As part of today’s announcement, we’re also releasing the KB4562830 Enablement Package for 20H2 Build 19042.330 Version 2009...

Microsoft's ever-changing/multiple naming schemes for various editions/releases/builds of Windows 10 have always been borderline insane. Everything has several names, and they refer to the same thing differently with each press release. Then they change it around. The Insider rings get changed around. The name of their new UI gets changed regularly - I don't even bother to try to keep up. Is it 'Modern'? Or was that last year? This bizarro lack of naming consistency along with repeated botched updates results in mass confusion, and supporting many different overlapping versions for years. This corporate sloppiness leads me to have less confidence in their code base...

I don't get the impression that they know what they're doing. IMO MS needs to clean up their act, tighten things up and get clear and consistent. I don't expect that to happen, and I'll be pleasantly surprised if it does.

    Hi there
Mega "Dogs Dinner" / should be "Wolf's dinner" on this one between Control Panel and the wretched new fangled settings on the main menu.

Old version of windows --easy in control panel to get to system settings -->administrative tools and adjust things like Virtual memory etc etc

Where is it these days -- is it seemingly hidden in the wretched settings things.

Why on earth does Ms persist in making a reasonably easy to find and use application into a piece of convoluted junk.

BTW same is with the wretched ant setup's" in latest versions of Office -- also hideous if you have different accounts / passwords on inbound and outbound mail servers etc - not everybody uses things like gmail !!! --that's another issue though - but it's all part of the same thing - trying to dumb down things just makes it ferociously more complex if you need to sensibly adjust things.

    Cheers

Still in the same place it was in Windows 7, Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > System > Advanced system settings.
