It's being incredibly show to download this one.
Yea my one install took 6 hrs to download and install the other 5 machine i used to iso to do them
After 5 hours the download was at 100% and after a good sleep I accepted the request to restart the computer
W10 20201.1000 is installed now and running OK
I saw c:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\ was almost empty now again.
In the past Microsoft told us to keep 20Gb free, but that is not enough from now on I think
Can that be the reason for the slow (stuck?) downloads ?
Hi there
What sort of Internet / computer are all you guys running this stuff on.
Is your Internet connection going back to two tin cans and a piece of string !!!
Amazing in some really rich countries how Internet still slow and expensive while poor little us with only 300,000 people have nice fast cheap unlimited Fibre optic Internet. (10 Gb/s although that doesn't mean I get it that fast from Ms's servers though). This update IMO was one of the quickest I've had for a while.
Seriously though if it takes as long as some people have reported something else must be seriously amiss.
Updated for me on WU within about 25 mins (plus the inevitable "Net3/4.5 updates").
On a VM under QEMU/KVM. Host Arch Linux all on SSD with Brtfs file system on Host and Native (RAW) SSD (SSD/NVME) for the VM running passthru for the Disk's -- so no paravirtualisation on the Disk I/O subsystem for the VM.
Zero problems so far !! even language mess of the last release seems to have been fixed.
Cheers

My is very modern and powerful PC with SSDs and everything, internet download was at 10-15mbps but still took long time unlike previous builds that usually finish in under hour, but this time...... Didn't think of checking how much was downloaded but I suspect it was several times the usual. Installation itself was short.
