Just noticed this build - I was just treading water in Linux and didn't expect anything until this week. I don't pay much attention to the watermark anymore - it just doesn't bug me like it used to.

So far it looks like they have fixed the constant Net Framework updates and forced reboots. We will tomorrow. The upgrade process was relatively slow but with no reboots during the "Working on updates" phase. So far so good. I will look at settings tomorrow.

    Hi there
anybody else running VM's or dual boots notice that the Disk properties (storage manager) app shows an incorrect value for the size of the Windows "C" drive on this build. The control panel version reports correctly.

For details and screenshot go back to about post nr 30 in this thread.

    Cheers

    Hi there
did you run the application in the Virtual Machine -- not on the Host.

Yes. Both the classic Disk management and the abysmal new settings disk management give to correct size.

Okay MS, can we lose the watermark already!? I'm tiring of it!
You know it's an evaluation copy, I know it's an evaluation copy, over and above that, who cares!
    I like the watermark!

It is an indication of Windows history and it was there back in the beta releases decades ago.

If you want to get rid of it, go into settings > Ease of access > Display > Show desktop background image > Turn the switch OFF.

That will remove the watermark and the desktop image. Choose the color of your choice.

    Take care,

A little late to the party but 20197 was installed using WU yesterday in under 1 hour with no trouble. .Net was installed again after reboot.

    Telephony fail

This build has the same problem as the last. When I run the 8x8 virtual telephone, the system will blue screen and restart. Everything else seems normal with the build.

I need some folks to check on a Disk Clean addon which shows on my machine but not on @f14tomcat 's
machine. Which is the ability to delete restore points from DiskClean.

    here's the thread

    Diskcleanup addition?
