I have ESET Internet Security Installed. Also I have RIOT VANGUARD a Kernel Level AC idk if this would effect it.
Usually does, specially with security updates like this one.Whn you have a 3rd party AV, Defender gets turned off.

Not fixed, you have to restart to manifest itself.

Ok so what do I need to do then? I just uninstalled RIOT VANGUARD. and I followed this video youtube.com/watch?v=mgyK88z3e5Y but it wont let me completely disable ESET. do I need defender enabled or what is going on with that.

This sounds like a broken record now, but OMG! When will Microsoft fix this optimize drive bug....... This is absolutely beyond ridiculous... Guess I'll wait to September before upgrading now, and hope it's fixed by then. yay!

did you even bother to check what version of the defrag.exe, defragsvc.dll & dfrgui.exe files from the Windows\System32 folder, Faith?

until MS actually provides NEWER versions of those crucial defrag files in newer cumulative updates, the defrag problem WILL STILL REMAIN UNFIXED! (if those defrag files are version 10.0.19041.84 or earlier for 20Hx)
