For reasons I won't go into, today I did an in-place ISO upgrade of Windows 10 Version 2004 to clean up the system. Upon restart I noticed I now have Version 19041.421 - that's Windows 2004 not 20H2. It was on .388 and checking for updates earlier today didn't download any new CU.
Did .421 get released to Insider Preview at some point?
Mention of 19041.421 was made in a post somewhere referencing this article
KB4568831 Windows 10 2004 / 20H2 [Manueller Download] als Preview Update | Deskmodder.de
It has been uploaded to UUPDump
I installed that yesterday, but it took almost 20 minutes, matby more, I am not sure, but it was so slow, considering how fast my laptop is. usually I don't even notice that updating are taking place.
I was hoping fixing the slow write speed only on 1 of my external hard disks, but it didn't.
Hi,
I'm sure that most of us that are member's of this forum can't be more happy with the overall wealth of information that it contains & the availability of member's providing help/assistance to other member's.For me at least my next project will be to load the this version onto my lenovo laptop that's currently got the latest dev version currently installed on it, which by the way I had to perform via the clean install method due to not just being able to install this beta version through normal methods utilizing a downloaded iso file. I already have macrium reflect installed on all of my computer's (Thank Goodness) !! To be honest I was even considering creating a new partition on my ssd & installing it on that. Thank you to everyone for providing help when we need it !!

its incorrect to associate this KB to 20h2, it applies to 20h1 as well.
Diceman2037,
For a moment I thought you were talking to me when you said this "its incorrect to associate this KB to 20h2, it applies to 20h1 as well." But I don't think your reply was intended for me, I must have been having a old folk moment.
