Ah CICS! I remember demonstrating a S/36 to a customer’s mainframe shop and watching the disbelief on their faces when 3270 Device Emulation outran their native applications. Of course, being able to make application changes on the fly by simply relaunching the application on a user’s workstation was dumbfounding. This was was back when distributed processing was just beginning. Communications line speeds and bandwidth were just too slow back then and putting processing power out at remote sites was the best solution at the time.

    Installed OK!
But I still have this issue:
What is this about—and you installed without problem and then got this message?

It should have been released to 20H1 but is not yet available though WU even as an optional update.
I installed it via WU in the beta ring on one machine then copied the CAB to a VM that was unable to install updates through MSU or WU's, neither have had 20h2 installed yet.

    Hi there
It won't install on AMD Opteron X4321 processor with R7 graphics -- just get message "Updates downloaded --update will re-start and continue. Update never does re-start -- and if you try to do it manually via the setup.exe from an iso (UUPDUMP created) program doesn't start at all .

You can "Poodlefake" it to force start by disconnecting from internet and re-booting then run disconnected from the net until installation completed --then re-connect and re-boo for the final configuration to finish-- then it does start --am running that now --I'm on another machine currently and will see what happens.

I find it strange that the development version installs but this release which supposedly is nearer to an official RTM / Retail version fails !!!! --Well the logic of Windows never fails to amaze me.

    Cheers

It is about the Microsoft Account that since 2 updates ago (I guess) started showing that it needs a fix, when I try to fix it, it give me the error and it keeps going on and on.

Have tried many thing I saw over Microsoft site and nothing worked.
