Took a while I didn’t get it right away, used to only seeing new features a build or 2 after they’ve been released

Good points! I posted that last night while it was downloading, and then went to bed before it finished. After restarting this morning I am back on 20161. So true enough, I spoke a little too soon... Lol.
Also, after hitting retry, it is downloading the entire thing AGAIN!!! M$ is such a screwed up company...
If it rolled you back to 20161, it reversed everything it did, including any downloads. That's what rollback does...... un-does everything it did. So, a retry downloading again is perfectly natural, nothing screwed up there.

I will be getting a new Ryzen system bye and bye, but not primarily for running Windows but running the latest Linux kernels. My current Ryzen system seems to have a problem with kernel 5.8 (interestingly not in VMs). I can live with the Ryzen gen 2 system I have mostly because I upgraded to the latest BIOS for my mobo.
A friend told me I'd regret getting a Ryzen, but so far, it's working out quite nicely. I haven't thought of upgrading the BIOS in this system, but maybe I should look into that.

I have to say you are an inspiration to me Wy. I'm only a youngster at 72 (73 on Election Day - crossing fingers). As a woman in a traditionally male-dominated area of hi-tech you must have a lot of stories to tell - but many may not be pleasant.
Yeah, I do have a few stories about those who have been threatened by my knowledge (or lack thereof). I even wrote short stories about a couple of 'em, but they'll remain unpublished.

I love this site because I'm treated with respect by pretty much everyone here. And . . . for the most part, stories I have to tell are positive.

I think the secret is not to get into those P'ing matches about who has the most brains. I got brains, you got brains, we all got brains; the secret is how we use those brains.
