I'm still on previous build 20161.1000 because of MS's mistake (unavailable for AMD systems) but I'm getting popup every hour that my windows is about to expire soon. Some joke. It pops up over anything I'm working on not letting me do anything else but click on OK.
AMD was supposed to fix its CPU bugs by the end of June. We are already past mid-July. I am wondering what gives.

AMD’S not the culprit with my systems, neither are notebooks nor have imbedded CPU’s — this is a MS PROBLEM. It has happened before where AMD based computers have been locked out of updates / upgrades / new builds.

Strange. All of sudden, the Details pane in dark themed File Explorer changed white. It is really annoying:

Did you try these (just some ideas for you) We couldn't install or update Windows 10 - 0xC1900101 error
Thanks for the tips, I've been trying everything including the tips from your source and still the install doesn't work from windows update or the ISO. I've been trying to interpret the setupact.log file after the update fails, but so far, haven't found anything useful. Here's a link to the failed update setupact.log log in "C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther".

@jimbo45 Probably why there is a block on AMD machines getting it through WU.

Very interesting. If this is so I don't see why they can't tell us. We will see tomorrow. If I don't get the update through WU on my physical instance I'm going to try to see if I can escalate it through tech support.

I must have the most amazing AMD processor then. If I had noticed that statement however I might not have tried to install using the ISO

Hoping for a new build today! Besides the settings icon I haven’t seen anything new in the last few builds, not even the start menu still haven’t seen the new look!
