It was a bit different... 25% then back to 8% then up to 35% and continued until 100% but it came back to 0% --> 100% and finished without any apparently problem or notifications.
I had the same thing or similar percentages! Why, Microsoft? (1909 here)

There is usually some double installing as Servicing Stack updates are released at the same time. If these are available WU installs them first without bothering to tell you or record them in the installed updates in the Settings App.

    Outlook Issue RESOLVED!

Hi folks, further to my previous post about Outlook not opening after this update, I went to Control Panel and did a Repair Office ONLINE. Initially, it didn't help but after a restart once the repair had completed, Outlook now opens normally as do all other Office programs. I also forced an Office update. I would also advise, when restarting, don't just do a simple restart. Rather, shut down the computer completely to allow the RAM to clear so a fresh start is done. You would think MS would have tested things like this before releasing the update but clearly, we're no longer paying for quality of service. More of a 'that'll do - let's see what happens' update using us all as guinea pigs despite not being part of the Windows Insider Programme. Good luck everyone!

Learned my lesson ; just WAIT (!) a few days ( one week) before updating , with possible s*** bugs ............!!
After a few days we know if its safe to update ...........

I used the Windows Update MiniTool - was offered both the Flash & CU updates. Only said I needed a restart after both were installed. Also did the cleanup as part of the install.

As for the SSD TRIM bug, I used the SanDisk software to run defrag - it DID remember the last time ran unlike the Windows optimise tool. So I've got that disabled & just use the SanDisk tool - probably does a more thorough job the the generic Windows tool anyways!

    Western Digital SSD Dashboard

Upon a search I found Western Digital has software to "Trim" their SSDs and it keeps track of the last time it was used.
