I've got the Defrag Scheduled task disabled. Hopefully that will do it.

That's interesting. Mine is manual but I don't remember setting it that way.

I cannot get Windows Update KB4565503 to install - continuous looping
starting Windows Update the download is OK until 100%, then
it begin to update normally until 20%, then jump to 44% and then to 100%,
it restart to download until 10%,
    then restart to update at 20% + 44% + 100%,
    again again again ...
in continuous looping between installing and downloading without end

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it and what could be causing this.I also downloaded KB4565503 MSU file and tried to install the update and get update failed..

You could try running the Update Trouble shooter or run Brink's Update Reset script Reset Windows Update in Windows 10

Thanks for the info..I will give it a whirl...

Update..I ran the bat file, rebooted and ran WU and it still does the same thing..Install Loop that goes to 100% then starts all over again from 0 to 100 and keeps repeating.
I will do a system file check then try the update again to see if it helps..

It doesn't matter. The file system is supposed to be telling the SSD about deleted file's blocks as they are deleted. The SSD optimization in defrag is a big hammer that sends a list of all unused blocks to the SSD. It only matters if information on the blocks of a deleted file, for some reason, failed to make it to the SSD, which would be unlikely and rare. So leaving the schedule disabled is the best thing.
Thanks for the information. I was not aware of that behaviour.
