that depends on whether or not MS will update the Defrag.exe, defragsvc.dll & dfrgui.exe files for v2004/v20h2, which are still 19041.84 atm and there are no new versions of these files yet

Regarding the instruction that Brink added in post #137 that seem a bit beyond my abilities:

Will this resolve the issue of my current version: 2004 (OS Build 19041.329) that is stuck in an update loop when I try to install version 2004 build 19041.388 using Windows Update, which I have paused for 7 days?

Just got a update prompt for the 2004 build. I got this laptop on Saturday and it had a cumulative update from May on it when I first checked and then it installed 1909 version 10.0.18363.997, so this new update today I was suprised about since it has been out since May.

Took a while for my laptop to restart after installing and then it hanged when I was logging in and then it loaded a blank page followed by windows a few minutes after. Is my build right as it shows 2004 build 19041.388 in winver but still says 2019 instead of 2020?
