I musta missed this...

you can re-position individual Taskbars on individual monitors, then you get a Custom entry...

... set it back to default and the Custom entry disappears!

I suppose I wouldn't mind the Net Framework quite so much but to have reboot after each installation? Can anybody tell me or us what this is all about?

Agree, the reboot is a pain and I, too, would like to hear what is going on.

Occasionally, you get a surprise. Out of the blue my machine Green screen (claimed it would restart but didn't) with a stop code of IRQL GT ZERO AT SYSTEM SERVICE. Ran chkdsk c: /r
