Hi there
However doesn't sensible testing usually go from DEV->(REGRESSION)->QA->PROD
So what's a DEV system today should in theory be tomorrows production system.
Of course one can't expect to run DEV systems as daily use "Prod" or Live systems but DEV systems shouldn't be riddled with errors that previous releases fixed -- I suspect Ms hasn't a clue about any sort of regression testing. (Or maybe they don't use a QA system before releasing it out of the door as a "PROD" system.

Please see this link. Old Edge in 20161.1000 installed in a Hyper-V VM. It shows the old, non-Chromium based Edge in 20161.1000 after doing a Cloud based reset. Has anyone else run into this?
I'd like to know why I don't have the new Chromium based Edge after the reset which is effectively a Clean Install.
NoteThis is the first time I've tried the Cloud based reset.
Does anyone think a real Clean Install would make a difference?
K, just hang on for a sec......,
Am I missing something...,
Every now and then a user will state: "I wasn't offered the new Chromium Edge update in Windows Updates"...
Can you not download it and install it yourself?
Is there a difference between the downloadable stable version and the "through WU version"?
I want to know why it's not a part of 2004 10241? Seems pretty late in the game to still have to download it. Surely by now it's part of the insider build line?
I opened Legacy Edge then opened a new tab but I'm not offered anything. Looks like I have to do what Edwin said and download it.I was only offered the update when opening legacy Edge for the first time in a new tab.

No it won't. Same for the last 5 builds.
