Just being curious. Was there a reason you disabled the Search function? I recently setup my web cam with a built in microphone and have been testing Cortana. Every once in awhile Cortana will pop up on it's own. I don't know if it's responding to the TV sound or what's causing it. I do know the TV hasn't said Hey Cortana. If it continues I'm going to disable Cortana. I also have the problem of my wife asking what I said every time I talk to my desktop.

Yes Cortana was one of reasons but she was fired a while ago. Only place she's allowed is in Halo game. She just wasn't available for any help in my locale.
Search also produces too many irrelevant results, for file search I have Search Everything.
