    VMM (QEMU/KVM) worked like a charm on Manjaro 20.03 and I just solved a problem I was having with VMware (just had to enable 3 services). Too bad it looks like I won't be able to run kernel 5.8 but it is working fine on Fedora and Ubuntu VMs.

    This is a pleasant way to pass the time until next week. I've had friends who have visited Iceland several times but no chance now as flights from the US are (rightly) not going to be allowed.

    Hi there

    @martyfelker

    I can't get on this build an X-server connection from Windows to fedora server I'm playing with.

    On build 331 (I'm using this now as my "reference Windows build") it works properly --even via a browser to the server

    for example :Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20161.1000 (rs_prerelease) - July 1-fed.png

    On this build --just a blank screen and then the Windows system hangs --even though it's a separate Windows laptop I'm using -- can't show the image as it needs a reboot !!!!

    I'm hoping a new build to test will appear sometime today - to play with over the weekend.

    Cheers

    Can someone tell me if Facebook Messenger is now launching on Dev builds? I don't know if I should wait for an app update or a new build.

    LOL

    It is hot on the East Coast since too long and humidity is at pretty high.

    I made 10 holes in the ceiling a few days ago to bring a 20 amp wire to the brick wall, they're coming for central air next week.

    I've painted since then and temperature in the apartment is 94 degrees for 2 days with a big noisy fan.

    This is hot!

    When we don't get a new build there is going to be an increase in off-topic posts. Well then, let's discuss the move of the System app in Control Panel to Settings. I think it was done quite well and won't mind if the Control Panel disappears completely. Expect that to be complete by 21H2 at the latest.
