Just installed this insider build, so far, seems ok no issues, took just under 26 mins to desktop followed by the NET cu
Hi there
Got it this morning - downloading and updating via WU now.
BTW funny defect on just before update -- Couldn't install HP Laserjet PRO MFP M28-31 drivers from HP -- However printer still worked via Windows although missing SCAN function.
On a VM Printer installed perfectly
Will see what happens with this build after my update has finished.
Printer working 100% and scanner no probs so far with this release
Note also if you have openssh server installed (via optional features) it isn't started after the update -- its status is stopped.
Just start it via task manager and then in services just set it to start automatically.
You need this if you want to connect TO this windows build FROM say a Linux NAS server via SSD or sftp etc for file xfer etc.
Cheers

Updated in 56 minutes.....During "working on updates" screen dimming occurred at 61% during the process.
Rectified by turning on Virtual Super Resolution" in AMD Adrenalin software.
Note:- after above installation installed another NET CU....this brought back dimming....rectified once again by repeating above solution.

Hi there
Got that as well but what does all this .NET stuff actually do -- is it something which developers use to access things like API's in the Windows GUI for example create screen or whatever (or in other type of GUI's -- MVC type operations --Model View Controller -- i.e screen handling etc separate from the actual application code).
Cheers

No idea, jimbo!!! And too disinterested to get onto Google.
Anyway, it is boring knowing about EVERYTHING.
Total lock, cut power then restarted, dimming recurring, too many faults listed in Event Viewer.
Builds 20150 and 20152 do not seem to like Steam. Will open games but not the Friends Network. Had to go back to 19645.
