Bounced a few times, but made it thru in ~30 mins. Known list seems to be growing. Guess it should be, though. There is a difference between Known and admitted, and Known and secret..........

20152 GPU Dimming Problem still present (AMD Radeon 20.2.2)

I didn't see a new 20152 thread and since I'm new I didn't want to try to create one.

I upgraded to 20152 and I'm still seeing the display dimming problem. I appreciate that Microsoft does note that this is a known issue and that they're investigating. I'm running Radeon 20.2.2 software on an Intel NUC8i7HNK. Also as others have noted, toggling the enable Virtual Super Resolution slider fixes the problem (for no apparent reason). But, on reboot, I again have a dim or washed out display.

Behavior is slightly different compared to 20150. The display isn't as dark, just somewhat dim and washed out until I toggle the super resolution slider in the Radeon Software control panel.

I tried everything to get monitor to brighten, removed and replaced driver, and couldn't get it to do anything. Was hoping this build would correct that flaw, but NOT happening with Microsoft!

60 min to desktop - not bad for this comp.

BUT, bah humbug, sleep still not working. Even worse, it wasn't in the "have yet to fix" list.

How universal is this fault? Is it just a select few or is it widespread?
Yes, Linw, the sleep problem remains unsolved.

Think I'll just set mine to never sleep, then it will be working fine

Just tested on today's preview 20152.1000 and works. I always run with hibernate, and so fast start-up, disabled. Worth a try disabling hibernate to try? You can always re-enable. Apology if you've already tried it. CMD admin -
    powercfg -h off
No apologies needed... I will be checking mine how it is!

Just finish installing build 20152 and the problem still exists for me.

    Greetings
