xinputhid.sys make this version green screen of death
Windows Defender Application Guard does not seem to be working correctly. It either reaches a connection time out or takes an excessive amount of time to reach any site. Reaching duckduckgo for a simple search typically times out in this version. I am using Edge (Stable/Canary/Dev) and WDAG behaves the same in each version.
I had this issue in the previous build (20150) - but WDAG worked correctly in builds prior to that.
For some reason I didn't get it until yesterday but it installed fine with .NET framework today. Just noticed one thing, SFC /SCANNOW doesn't work without it. Just a message that "System is in shutdown mode" but it doesn't shut down.
Exactly so. ANY input from a controller triggers the GSOD due to a 'kmode exception not handled' by xinputhid.sys
I posted this issue shortly after the 20152 update and got the response that the Dev Team is aware of it and XBox One controllers will not work at all with this build. They are 'working on it'
Posts saying no bugs with 20152.rs probably don't have an XBox One controller. :-(
Doesn't help you, I know, but the XBox controller and bugs and crashes is in the Known Issues page 1.
"Some Insiders may experience a bugcheck and rollback when attempting to update to this build if an Xbox controller is connected to your device. You may see error code 0xc1900101 in Windows Update History. To work around the issue, disconnect or unpair the Xbox controller to successfully update. (Please note that reconnecting the controller after the update will result in a bugcheck.)"
This build is acting very stranger to me: Today I couldn't connect to any of my network, then I saw events in Event Viewer stating:
The DNS Client service terminated with the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.
Because of that I can't turn on "Network Discovery" and I couldn't find any help on how solve this matter.
Anyone?
I'm also experiencing lots of mouse lag during certain operations...,
also..., Explorer flashes the Desktop every so often!
Something's not playing nice with others!
