Hi there
Why watch on a browser -- works perfectly well on a monitor that has a TV tuner in it -- Amazon and Netflix are both apps available to the TV tuner -- proper sound / decent 4k UHD / HDR if source is transmitted in that format.
Why would I want to watch that sort of thing on a PC (apart from say a Laptop in an airport lounge or equivalent --certainly not at home if you have decent size good quality screens.
I think any self respecting monitor these days can act as a TV tuner --at least here and all over Europe I think now it's all digital TV so tuners are no problem size of chip can be tiny -- also with decent optical out for good audio.-- not sure if old analog TV exists anywhere these days.
If your TV has a CAM slot (for encrypted programs) - just take video out from there to decent HD Disk based video recorder for saving programs and then send to computer / NAS if you want to archive / play later .
You don't need the CAM module / card itself --just take video out feed to the recorder -- audio is fine.
Cheers
