Used VMware-Workstation-Full-e.x.p-16238816 to update to this build from previous using a Shared VM. This is under Ubuntu 20.10 with kernel 5.7.4-050704-generic. Kernel 5.84rc1 is available but is not working properly on my machine. Will return to Windows later today to work on getting nested virtualization working - there was more to it than I first imagined.
Oh dear, what a mess this flight is turning out to be....this morning the computer would not start first time ….second time it started but dimming has returned the Cumulative network update has not solved the problem.
As before clicking on and off Virtual Super Resolution is the method I use to regain a viewable screen.
Would you believe it my Bluetooth mouse connection is broken while typing this, am now using wired mouse.
What to click to resolve it....that is until the next time you start the computer..
Hi there
Not sure how - but this build even seemed to hose up video bios settings -- so the bios boot menu (UEFI) started off in 640 X 480 VGA -- you can imagine how hideous that looked on a big approx 55 inch screen !!
Anyway after complete cold start --i.e switch computer completely off and remove power for 5 mins - and jiggled around with video connections it started again OK
Computer had opteron 4321X CPU with built in radeon graphics (2 ports available).
First time I've ever seen something like that on a build !!! -- anyway this build for me is done --not using it again --too many unknowns here --once an OS starts messing around with BIOS without a user prompt --no thanks !!!!
Cheers

Am now using RTM which is installed separately with my Insider version using a dual 2.5" Sata Hard Drive rack on a single desktop.
Switching O/S is simple.....Graphics using the same AMD driver and Adrenalin setup.
Up to the present flight everything worked in unison....now only RTM works as it should.
The dimming problem is obviously an OS issue, for me Ive reverted back to 645. Not worth the hassle of reinstalling drivers every time it dims
