See my post #55 mike....reinstalling driver 20.5.1 solved the dimming problem, though even then had to play about a bit with it to get my desired setup.

PS Using Adrenalin software I found clicking on Display then turning on Virtual Super Resolution cleared the dimming problem.

Ah sorry, I must have missed that one, I'll give it a go as I prefer to have same drivers in Insider and regular version so I can compare them better.
PS. When I tried to update from 20.4.2 to 20.5.1 thru Radeon utility it said that 20.4.2 is up to date.

Hey guys I mentioned this in the previous builds, straight to desktop, no tweaking, when I open windows defender the plush screen just crashes, I get notifications but can’t open the app !

Just tried updating driver to 20.5.1 but...

Cleaned old drivers with DDU and installed 20.5.1, no problem with dimming now.

I just noticed this morning when checking how my daily backup went just to find out that it did not run.
Trying to run it manually the software backup SyncBack Pro V.9.3.30 won't run on this build, Macrium does.
So, to make sure it wasn't a problem related to one computer I check and run it on all computers and on none of them it worked properly.

To bad I may have to go back to the previous build because this backup it's important to me.

I give up. Tried Dencal’s and your remedy, no change. I’m done. Have 3 computers that have regular screens. Two computers have Radeon video but only one affected. I can play with this build on one of other computers and hope this issue is corrected with future build.

I'm happy with this build so far, no problems at all.
