Introducing Windows Insider Channels for Windows 10 Insider
-
I am not a NOOB, I have been in and out of the IP since build 9926. I just want to be able to get a build that will be released one day. This way I feel a sense of accomplishment. What ever build they put in the slow ring or Beta channel will be better than what I am now using ~19041.329.
Never say never.

Sure its a great way to learn, but if something goes wrong, they might be a bit stuck.
-
Yes one can leave the Program. When they put a BETA build out, I will be back in it. and more than likely drop out again. I will cross that bridge when I get to it. I like Edwin and Cliff tend to customize my Windows 10 and tire of changing it twice a week.

Let me be the first to say it before somebody else does.....
Fast ring = Dev Channel
Slow ring = Beta Channel
Release Preview ring = Release Preview Channel
They are all Beta!

I am no luddite but I am wondering why is this terminology change all the time?
Simple. New "Ring" Leader! She now has something she's personally responsible for.

I would consider Fast Ring = Alpha.

Beta, as in testing, but alpha works, too.

Different strokes for different folks. I have has enough of being a Feature Testing Lab Rat for MS.

Then quit the Insider Channels.
