My first attempt was clogged up with the perpetual, never-ending, .net update AGAIN! Bounced once to start downloading again, then finally got to Restart. spin-spin-spin...... "Undoing all the changes we just wasted an hour of your time trying to make. Sorry about that....".
Was offered a "Retry". Why not. This time went right thru and finished. I'm convinced the .Net is colliding with the build and throwing up.

I installed it, seems better than 19041.XXX at least it remembers the last time your SSD was optimized. It also seems quicker. I had zero problems using Windows update.

1st try took 40 minutes to restart which was a GSOD, the second try was normal 38 minutes to Desktop, and then had to install .net update and restart so it should be ok now.

Downloading it now. I am using Pengwin as my WSL program although I can use others and will work with the new servicing model once this get installed. I hope the neowin article on 21H1 coming to us this month was not fake news - this of course is still on the mn_release (20H2) ring.
