    @Bree & Sgage,
Thanks a lot guys. Now things are clear for me. So initial rollout was on 27th of may. Well I am surprised then to have it on my VERY old laptop (HP Elitebook 8770w) (8 years old). For now all is working perfect and no issues after the update

My first two to see it offered were also two of my oldest. Strange but true. My newest has yet to see it offered....

. Of my two machines, the oldest one (+ 15 years old) is running 2004 surprisingly with no known issues, while the newest one (bought in 2015) is still on the bench waiting with no message at all from MS. Isn't that weird?

When I got the notification for this update, which was installed with no issues, I was also offered the 2004 upgrade.
I'm a little hesitant to install it, as I'm very busy with work.
But within the next couple of days, I'll make my usual image, cross fingers and give it a try!

That's the way to go if it has been offered to you. See my post # 678 here .

    Still no solution to WWAN

The update installed OK on my Thinkpad T470s running Win10 pro. But my Sierra Wireless EM7455 is now not showing in "device manager" - but can be found in "hidden units" but described as not connected to the laptop.
Removing the update does not resolve this.

So as of now I do not have the use of my WWan LTE connection - how can that be resolved? - I find it pretty shocking that a WU solution has actually ruined this fine Thinkpad

And I am also blocked from the 2004-update on this laptop, when is that being resolved ? Any rumours ?

Is this update forced? or is it one of those updates that's listed as optional or whatever? Because it's been sitting in my Windows Update for two days now saying "download waiting". I don't force them manually and always let updates for Windows do its own thing. The flash player update came through and installed itself yesterday, so I expected the same for this one.

    Added:

    It went through today automatically.

This update kills clean windows update files

Well done MS ,nice to see you haven't lost your touch in screwing up your latest update with not showing Windows update clean update has been done. Along with 2004 (another joke) How can they justify sending out that bug riddled crap.
Just like ver 1903 a total waste of time. Yet people will still install this crape and say " my Machine is fine"and spend the next few days trying to iron out the errors that MS has induced. Everyone is a beta tester for MS and it's time to stop.
Covid-19 or not there is no excuse for the rubbish that MS is putting out at this moment.

Just like the insider program MS doesn't seem to take any notice of faults reported. The same faults appear time and time again in the latest updates. If it's not VSS or Esent it's something else.

After installing this upgrade on June 11, Windows Update said "You're up to date". When I booted up from a cold start on June 12, Windows wanted me to go through the new user process. It asked for a Windows Hello PIN (which I ignored). I had to sign into my Microsoft account (minor annoyance). Then it asked about other devices and where they were (which I ignored).

At least my wallpaper, icons and other settings are (hopefully) intact.

I read some negative reviews about the "Feature Update to Windows 10, version 2004" so I ignored that, too.
