Hi folks
as far as the.Net Framework is concerned -- did you install this build from scratch (clean) or did you update from a previous build which already had the relevant .Net Framework release installed -- I know some older programs still want .Net 3.5 --- this looks like it's going to develop into the same sort of chaos that deprecating SMB1 has had on small home networks where really the security requirements aren't that necessary unlike Work and business type networks.
As the expiry date isn't that far off now - We probably will get a few more builds soon -- I'd probably expect the next one to last say until October -- summer hols nearly here (at least in the Northern hemisphere where Ms does much of its development) so I think a lot of people won't want to spend much time messing around with their computers or there won't be the availability of staff to work on the releases over much of July / Aug anyway.

Hi folks
What's up with Ms -- this release doesn't even show itself now on trying to browse a LAN with file explorer -- absolutely not a smidgen of anything else other than a firestick --not even mobile phone(s) detected.
There should be 3X Windows machines, 2X Sky Q boxes / infrastructure, 2X mobile phones, 2X samsung smart TV's and 2X NAS linux server visible on my LAN currently !!!!!!!.
Who is in charge of Windows Networking at Ms --I'd like to apply all sorts of unspeakable punishments to whoever is responsible. !!
So this one -- MEGA FAIL. !!!!!
Cheers

I'll re-boot my entire network later -- the whole kybosh and see what happens.
At least our bars / restaurants etc are open again so I can shut the whole thing down -including the router and leave it for a couple of hours.
I've done the normal checks --e.g no duplicate names on network, settings OK, etc.
Here's how part of network looks on the other VM I'm running (the one I upgraded FROM) --TV's and SKY boxes are currently switched off but network (what's currently up) shows properly.
Cheers

downloaded and installed first time great, as last 3 updates have taken 3 times to install.
so far everything is working
Installed fine through WU--offline disk-based portion of the install took 20 minutes this time--5-8 minutes longer than the norm in the last several builds. Nothing unusual to report yet.
I used UUPDump to make the ISO to upgrade my desktop. It took a total of 51 minutes. I haven't upgraded my laptop yet.
I just checked to see if I would get the Cumulative update for .NET. It was already updated before I checked.
